It is a good idea to test the quality of the water annually. As the water circulates through the system it can pick up debris and rust. A magnetic filter can help keep your water clean, but you should still test at minimum once a year (we recommend every six months) for pH, TDS (total dissolved solids) and glycol strength. If any of these are out of the normal range, they can negatively affect your boiler’s operation or potentially cause damage.
