While many boiler systems run only clean or distilled water in them, the addition of pure propylene glycol with PDT premier inhibitors with a water mixture can increase the life expectancy of a boiler by preventing corrosion to the system and heat exchanger components.
Should your system fail in a harsh winter climate, the glycol also prevents freezing in the system which could result in breakage or fracturing of components.
